my rescue lady called and asked if i would take a mama and 3, 3 week old babies but when they got here there were 6 babies and i think they are close to 6 weeks old. all of them are well over a pound. no runt really, their weights are all within 1/2 oz of each other. 4 girls and 2 boys so i need names! i think there was more than 1 baby-daddy because of the variety of this litter! i love the little gray/white tuxedo (she looks like our boy we had to pts last year)..

mama is very sweet so she was probably dumped. no one claimed her at animal control.

Oh what ADORABLE kittens and mama looks terrible sweet and gentle especially with a young child near her and her babies. Mama clearly feels safe and cared for with you and your family. Thank you for taking them in...please keep posted with photos...we love kitten photos [emoji]128571[/emoji] I need to get Mamanyt1953 Mamanyt1953 over to this thread!

@HelloMissKitty you got me here!

The little tabby point in the second picture...Tora-chan, Japanese for Tiger Dear, because it looks like a tiny white tiger.  Or Tora Hohi, which is far less elegant, and means Tinger...erm...well...let's just say "Wind."  Not the polite kind!

What precious kittens!  I'll be here on a regular basis, feeding my addiction!

I love that color pattern of the white tabby. She's going to be beautiful when she grows up.

ella, I think you have it right, they look closer to 6 or 7 weeks than 3 weeks. And the mom looks like she's doing a great job with them, thanks to you giving her a warm and safe place to raise her babies. I hope they get to stay with her for the standard 12 weeks.

They are utterly precious!

Little tuxedo...Pianissimo...it means "softly"...and pianos are black and white...You could call her Nissy for short.

all 6 babies started eating mushy food today with very little coaxing from so i think they were very ready!

i fed 2 kittens at a time so the mess didn't get too big and that worked out well.

i tried to get some pictures today but these kittens don't sit still for a second! this is the best i could do,

this is georgina, the fearless leader of the pack and the most curious by far!

the gray/white is ashley,

these are the boys, presley and cooper. they look like ragdolls and they are fuzzier than their siblings,

this is charlotte, very outspoken as you can see,

my babies are getting close to 2 lbs so they will be leaving me soon. they are all so sweet, i don't think they'll have to wait long to find homes. i really want to keep this little lady and my boys agree:

she made a new best friend with my oldest and the alpha of my pride, ratman:
