My cat snuck out and got her self pregnant this is an accidental litter when we got her as a kitten we were told she was fixed but turns out they lied lol but I didn't know until last night that she was pregnant I was petting her and I felt light little movements she's gotten a little bit wider but not much I was wondering if that's normal or not? And about how long if I'm feeling movements? They weren't big movement but big enough for me to feel I've also started her on kitten food nuristment food mixed with knr today

Hi and welcome to TCS!

You're doing good getting her started on kitten food and a dish of kmr daily sure does good :) You'll want to make several nesting areas in your house, in quiet areas like corners, closets, etc to encourage her not to give birth under the bed or couch! You'll also want to get a kitchen scale (preferable one that measures in grams) to weigh the kittens every day.

If you're just starting to feel movement, it's normally 2-3 weeks until her due date. It's hard to pinpoint if you don't know the exact date she mated.

Do you know what day she got out? Or do you have an intact male that hangs around? If so, you'll want to get him fixed ASAP, because he can still be fertile several weeks after he is fixed and mama can get pregnant again within a week of giving birth. Or you'll want to make sure she has absolutely no way outside until she is fixed.

Could you post some pictures of Mama? :)

Didn't your cat very recently have a litter?  Assuming that both the first and third post are yours, I remember your user name and your story.

This is very soon for mom to be having another litter, so you'll need to start feeding her kmr and kitten food now.  She needs as much nutrition as she can get.  Do you still have the kittens from her first litter?  When did she stop nursing?  Her reserves are very low and you want to do everything you can before she delivers.

Now, about keeping her in.  How has she been getting out without you noticing?  Can you make sure she stays in until she can be be spayed?

Glad to hear it's not the same mama. So hard on their bodies!

Were you able to get your first mama spayed? And keep her in? What happened to the kittens?

You definitely want to find some solution asap so mama is sure to deliver inside and not get pregnant again.

I would still start with feeding kitten chow. Mama still needs all the nutrients she can get!

It's fixed now it looks like. Glad both of the other kitties found a good home together. You and momma are going to be just fine! You sound prepared. Now we just wait. [emoji]128522[/emoji]
