thank you for replying! i just saw this

they said they did all blood work and it was all normal our first trip there.she said thats why she recommended admittance to neuro. then i read report and it says this:

so i called and said u guys need to refund me for the work u didnt do.they said they would and that the bill was written up prior to check out. then later that night he got worse and i had to take him back at 4 am to same place. (called first they said diff dr,and this hosp is 1 of 2 closest to me and the other one said it was bladder infec no way was it a focal seizure so i decided this 1 was best) \

i told the dr i saw they didnt do cbc and she said they would. when i left w antibiotics i thought they did.until i called today and told them i need copies of that test bc he has appt tmrw and they said they didnt do it.and the dr wasnt there she wasnt sure why.i got report and it says this:

so she said they analyzed blood work and then says reccomends cbc. makes no sense ill have vet do it in am

He doesn't look well in that one picture.  Do you have a video?  That would tell a lot more.  And it would help the doctors see what's going on too.

how is he doing?

are you on facebook? Do you follow Andy Needs your help or that other huge group for another seizure kitty=they are in Maryland and I cant remember their names off the top of my head.

Andy has seizures due to water in the brain=entirely different scenario but she has lots of info of what she watchs for. she treats him every 5 hours with phneo whatever its called. I have heard her talk about that Kepp named drug as well. I think its a matter of messing around with doses and finding out what sets them off.

Andys are related to weather changes=especially air pressure-not sure if this helps at all. Hopefully someone plugs in the name of that other kitty that has a huge following-facebook is blocked from this computer so I cant search.

scratch that-its this: Super Hero The Hydrocephalic Cat and Zeke -

Interesting!  Gosh it almost makes me wish I had Facebook.  I kept a log for several years on Nat's seizures but could never identify a clear pattern.  The only thing that stood out is the time of year.  He seemed most prone to them in January, March and June for some reason.  The first year it happened Nat stopped seizures completely, without any meds at all, on July 4 2012.  He just stopped, completely.  His vet, the one he bit, called him a conundrum and just gave up on him, but told me to still keep a record.  He didn't have one seizure for 6 months, then started up in January 2013, stopped in March that year and he went for 1 year and 3 months with no seizures.  They started back in June 2014, stopped in July 2014, started back in January 2015, stopped with meds after an ICU visit and phenobarb pills, started back in March 2015 and that was when they increased his phenobarb to twice what it was and put it in liquid form.  No seizures since.

I wanted to mention this too as a related story:  There was this collie who inexplicably lost feeling in his legs.  After much testing to no avail, his owner reluctantly decided to have him put to sleep.  While an intern was helping comfort the dog during the start of the euthanasia procedure, she felt a lump behind his ear.  It was a tic.  Turns out this tic's saliva was causing all the symptoms.  Ten hours after the tic was removed, the dog began improving and is still alive today.  His symptoms started after a camping trip where he got the tic.  He almost got PTS for no good reason.

I do have a videos,oh so many videos.probably 20 of them.the vet today was deff more interested in watching them, and other Drs seemed to not want to spend too much on the most important part.also,Timone had an episode while at the vet, very abnormal.
The Dr basically said he had no idea.he said the carnevia the first Dr gave him should cure any infectious disease and to stop the 2 ki got from last hospital visit.pplus he hasn't ran a fever so he said he doesn't think that's the cause.he said stop keeppra bc it's taking too much time and he started on pheno. He have shot of steroid and b12 and the pheno.he said he will stop seizures by tomorrow. I don't see am improvement yet.I left pissed off and dissappointed.I asked him t do cbc he said he didn't think it wld be valuable and he said he would do ct scan but doesn't want to give him anesthetic right now.
I am on Facebook I will look for those groups I'm in a group my friend added me to for our countu and one lady said she has heard of this happening in dogs that eat Purina.Timone eats Purina beyond organic no by product etc but he has for a while.I am going to switch food tho bx I'm desperate.thank u for telling me abt those geoups!
The story is so sad about the poor baby with the tic bite.i bet the owner was so happy ...I'm dreadful for Monie to get worse.I cried and pleaded with Dr to please ask around other vets and help me bc I can't bare to think of him at that point where I put him down.this time last week I was carrying him around and he was his normal happy self.
I'm sorry if I'm rambling I'm feeling hopeless.I don't feel the pheno will work either bc at the vet timones pupils were uneven size.they corrected in a few minutes but I made mistake of looking it up

Any new chemicals used in the house, such as cleaning supplies, scented candles, or air fresheners , do you have any plants in the house that he might have nibbled on?   Cats are very sensitive to chemicals

I am absolutely livid right now I was wondering to myself which Dr was right about the carnevia and what all it would treat.it treats bacterial infections.so does clindamycin and doxycyclin.
This vet literally told me stop these bc converia is enough...I just found this in with the pheno
So basically give u money for more bacterial antibiotics?!?!?! Omg I'm pissed

I see you are from Ohio.  If you live in the Central Ohio area I can give you a recommendation for an excellent Certified Feline Specialist in  Columbus.

No I used to buy orchids I stopped long time ago bc he ate them up.the only chemical he could have possibly gotten is bc he drinks from toilet like. A dog and typically I keep seat down bc of that.
I put a tab on the back of the toilet about 2.5 months ago,its the one that turns water blue but it goes clear after a month.after this happened I read the back it says it anitizes in the water for 4 months. All Drs said something would show with organ function and vet said he

He got admitted in by dr 1st clinic.felt like a bad momma leaving him there when he looked so scared but I had to.they're doing xrays, blood work for leukemia, aids, toxoplasmosis, all the regular plus a cbc and heart protein for heart malfunction.
He has appt with a Neuro too next week I'll keep it if blood work doesn't reveal the problem, told husband he has to see it my way I can't watch him suffer so we will hope for the best and I will post results for anyone who is interested or has similar symptoms as my baby.
Thank you to all!it was so nice having people to talk to in this forum sorry if I got emotional.I've never saw him sick!

i am so glad to see this update.  And I'm glad that he's getting the work up, and I HOPE something that is treatable shows up!  I felt like a heel taking Gracie and Nat to the ICU too.  It is hard seeing them sick.  Best wishes for a speedy recovery for Timone!
