Hey, there cat lovers!
Last summer my mother and I were walking in the country near their hobby farm when we heard the tiniest "mews" coming from the ditch. When we got closer, this sweet kitten, although initially hesitant at seeing the dogs we we were walking, came running out of the ditch into my arms. It was a done deal. She was mine. It was a sign, right?

Anyway, she has very unusual markings and a high energy, quirky personality. I have been pretty much obsessed with trying to find other cats with her unique fur pattern. I was just curious to see what other cat savvy people thought. While I know she is not a purebred, my family is convinced that there was some sort of hybrid in her ancestry. Anyone have any thoughts?

Yeah, as a sign from the Above!

OK, she is a domestic shorthair.   Mackerel tabby, and also tortie and white.  It will be called for Torbie and white....

Sweet girl!

Thank you! She is my baby! So you think she is mackerel? That was one of the things I was really wondering about because in some places the lines are broken and some areas even look like oceloid spots.

OK, so it will be broken mackerel.

For being spotted the spots must be more clear.   Also, while mackerel and broken mackerel is the same gene, so broken mackerel and spotted are two different genes.

Even if the broken mackerel does happen to show off some spots.
