Hi guys,

I recently got a nice white cat from the animal shelter. On her paper is stated that the breed would be european shorthair, but I can't notice any major resemblance between my cat and that breed's characteristics. Could you give me any answer regarding my question. My personal opinion would be that she is similar to the Turkish Angora, but hey, I'm no expert. Pls help me out here :)

Thanks

Sorry for the individual pictures, but I can't find a way to upload multiple photos from my phone at once.

You live in Europe?    Here in Europe, there IS a breed called for the European, but what many use the words is to politely say a moggie, a domestic.

However, your beautie isnt no shorthair.  On the last two photos we clearly see she is at least mediumhair.   The last photo is very pretty portrait of her.

What she is we cant know, probably a domestic whom happens to be both medium hair and totally white.   But I too think you may compare her to a somewhat look alike of an Turkish Angora.

Gorgeous Kitty!  nice shots

Tip: sometimes I trim the feathering on paw pads less tracking with

litter-easier to notice since they're white ;)

Lucky to have found each other

Thank you very much for your help! Yes, she is a beauty:) Actually I trimmed her feathering on paws, but the last two shots were made on the day I got her, before I did it. Maybe you can help me with another thing too... I've noticed that she is enjoing very much the wet, can food, but she barely touches the dry one (and I got some good one i think, purina one). Any tips?

Wet food is usually better, and is also more healthy for cats, so be happy and continue with it as her main diet.     :)
