Possible Litter Issues

Hi everyone, I posted a thread about my cat having urinary problems last week and how he is crying after using the litter.

However, my question is.... Can cats become sensitive to certain litters/hurting them? I'm using Arm & Hammer right now but since he came home, he doesn't seem to like it. He does his business then cries then goes back to bury it. Is there any other litters that could help him? Thanks.

Cats can associate litter or litter boxes with painful experiences. You could definitely try making a slight change to see if it helps. I would do it by adding a second box though, and keeping the first just in case.
