Hi everyone, so recently my one of two Siamese cross cat Bailey has been showing her eyelids frequently. She also appears to be doing as we call it "the bum drag" across the carpet lately. I have attached pictures. Would this be something we need to get her into the vets for? She has recently been smelling but doesn't seem to be different in herself until today where she decided to hide behind the door and sleep? Help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

1: blurry and from a distance so not the best, didn't want to scare her!

2: this evening before I came to bed and not as bad as they have been (always the way!)

Hi Dragging the butt is an indication of worms  same with odors normally if your cat has seen your Vet in the past year (here) then you can pick up worm medication over the counter without another visit. Two treatments one dose is a repeat. If the eye issue is continuous hasn't improved best to ask a Vet it could be an infection from a scratch or ?

Yes, you should see a vet.  The third eyelids are usually a sign of illness or infection.  Please let us know what the vet says!

They both need to get to the vet ASAP.  The butt dragging could be impacted anal sacks and the third eyelids showing indicate some kind of illness is going on.

Definitely get to a vet. Any kind of eye problem is a definite vet visit. Eye problems can get bad quickly. After all, they only have two for their lifetime and the third eyelid showing is one of those needs to see a vet signs. Could be any number of things, so best not to worry yet but do get them checked out.

I agree with everyone.

I really think you need to see your vet about these things.

With my kids and my cats, I'm not someone who rushes of to the doctor for every little thing; however, you need to see a vet.
