Fur regrowth after a flea allergy - how long?

Hi, had anyone had a cat who's lost a lot of fur due to an allergy, and if so - how long can it take for the fur to grow back?

I adopted a cat yesterday and the poor thing is pretty naked from her shoulders down! The rescue said it was from a flea allergy which they've treated. It certainly doesn't look sore or scabby so don't think she's actively reacting anymore. Hopefully just waiting for it to regrow now but just curious as to how long this might take. (It WILL grow back right?! :lol3: )


Aside from the naked bum lol, she's the loveliest friendly cat I've met, think I've gotten very lucky!

yes it will grow back. my rainbow kitty Flash came to me just like that. fleas. it took about 2 weeks to get new fur back and a month for full length if not longer. she loved snuggles and didn't mind blankets on her so she slept next to us with a thin sheet ontop of her.
