OK, so we have started feeling them move now. We have made some significant progress with the fleas. We got a flea comb and she loves it. I bathed her in dawn, and that really helped. The last three days or so, she's been obsessively grooming herself. We have a nesting area set up for her in our closet, as it's pretty big. We felt the kittens move for the first time yesterday. She now no longer wants us petting her belly, which is unusual for her as she loves belly rubs. She's quite big for her size, as she's a petite cat. On the lower range for normal. My guess is that she'll have three kittens. I could be wrong of course.

I'm getting a little antsy waiting haha. I know she still has some time to go before they're here.

Ok, so she is showing heat like symptoms. I know she's not actually in heat, because she's pregnant. She's also being very demanding of attention. And she's almost constantly meowing now.

You can use Advantage II on pregnant cats for the fleas.   You don't want the kittens to get them, they can cause anemia.

We've made some great progress on the fleas. We got both Advantage 2 and a flea comb. She still has them, but it is getting better. I comb her several times a day, and I think a couple more session and she'll be good. We're bombing the house this weekend, to get rid of the ones in the carpet. We have a place to take her while we're doing it. And I know! I'm so excited! I'm also very impatient and anxious lol.

If she has the kittens before this weekend you'll need to be careful about moving her for flea bombing. Let us know how things are going.

She's also not eating as much as normal. I think I may be off on the date as to when she mated. She's also sleeping a lot more today, but when she is awake, she seems very agitated. She keeps swishing her tail as if she's annoyed at something. I'm so excited about this! We will be keeping one of the kittens, and rehoming the others.

Her meowing has now changed in pitch and urgency. Like, she'll meow really loudly to get my attention and quite often. Even if i'm just petting her. No signs of impending labor. No contractions or anything of the sort. I'm not an expert by any means, so I could very well be wrong and she may be in the early stages of labor.

She's really antsy today. She keeps trying to get outside.
