Ok, thanks :) I think she found her spot. Our bath tub of all places lol. I've showed her the different spots we have set up for her, but I don't think she likes them.

Thankfully our shower is separate, so no wet kitty haha. I put some blankets in there for her. She's been meowing and purring quite a bit today.

It could be stage one labor. If not she is moving in that direction. Is she camping out in the tub?

She has been for the past two, now three, days. Mainly gets up to eat, drink, use the litter, or to get cuddles. Other than that, that's where she's been mostly.

Cats purr to soothe themselves when in pain. Could be she's having contractions.

Ok, so she just had a contraction. Her stomach became extremely hard, and is now soft again. I'm trying to be by her side as much as possible right now, but I have two sick kids.

Well, if her contractions just started, she may have quite awhile to go. You'll just need to do your best going back and forth! Poor you! Poor kids! Poor cat!

She has had two more contractions since I updated last. Hectic day to say the least!

Oh, they are pretty close together already! At least getting steadier.

We had a huge scare with her. She managed to get under the tub again, and somehow got outside. We fixed it permanently and she is safely inside again.

Thank goodness you retrieved her quickly!

How is she progressing?

I'm so very glad she was only under the house, and came right out when I called her. She's progressing slowly. Shes still contracting, but no kittens yet. She's very clingy right now. She doesn't want me to be too far from her at all. Thankfully my husband's home from work, and is able to help with the kids.

It can be a long process. Are you planning to sleep with her tonight?

She sleeps in our room. I have an alarm set for ever hour or so, that way I can check on her throughout the night. Although, I think she'll let me know, because every time she has a contraction, she leans up against me, and kneads me.

You might want to put down an old towel underneath her on your bed just in case. If she's actually pushing out a kitten you will not want to move her in the middle of that.

My cat labored all night in my bed, but jumped down and ran to her box to deliver, but you never know!

Cats have delivered on sofas and in laps!

She just spent the last oh 20 minutes I'd say, in the tub. She had 3 contractions within a 10 minute time frame. Every single one, she was purring loudly, rolling around on her back, and kneading. She wanted me to rub her tummy during each one, and that seemed to help get her through it.
