New Here but not to pets.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Charlotte and live on a small farm with my husband and our fur children.  We have goats, chickens , a small dog (papillon) and we recently lost our 16 yr old kitty.    I have a lot of animal experience with those mentioned as well as horses .   I want to get another kitty from the local kill shelter when I get to the point that I can talk about it and not cry.. LOL

Yes.  I dont plan to get another for a few months.
