A bit of a random question today about toilet paper etiquette :lol3:




which way do you prefer to hang toilet paper on the holder ? Under or over ?
Do you have a preference ?

Over.  I know some people prefer under when they have cats but in our house; a) the cats don't even bother with TP and b) one bathroom doesn't even have a place for a roll (really old house, bathroom a shambles which needs an overhaul) so it just sits on top of the radiator near the toilet lol.  Convenient at least

our deedee discovered the roll of toilet paper recently, started doing 'paw over paw' pulling of it.     i noticed that quickly, and just took the roll of toilet paper off the holder for a couple days. deedee hasn't returned to playing with the roll of toilet paper so far......

Over.  Blame it on my dad, who was purely OCD about it!

however I happen to put it on the roll, I don't look, lol.

Over!  Noodles used to terrorize the toilet paper; but it never mattered whether or not it was over or under!  The result was always the same; swiss cheese TP!   

Over. Mingo has lost his interest in shredding the roll, but if he did do that, I would put it on under.

However we put it on the roll. I'm just not that anal (  sorry!) about it. Sometimes, it's under, sometimes it's over. My sister likes it under (because of her cats), so if she visits and we have it over, she'll take it off and put it back on under. (And then tell me she did it.) I just don't care.

I prefer over but don't fuss over it. If a cat is going through an "unrolling the tp" phase, I'll put it under, but mostly they shred it, not unroll it.

I prefer to put it under when I have it on a roll thing. Because I'm a rebel But I have it on a stand now so it doesn't matter.
