That's really exciting, and I hope it leads to a cure for FIP. Such a shame that they induced it in healthy cats to test this treatment first, but now they're going to use cats who already have it so at least they'll get a chance at a cure.

That is exciting especially along with the work being done on a definitive test for FIP.

I was surprised that my alma mater Kansas State University is the one doing this.  I know they have a vet school but Kansas is a very rural state with a lot of agriculture, I thought their emphasis would be on livestock.  I am just surprised that they are doing ground breaking research for companion animals.
