May be getting a few babies soon. Thinking I could post here to share some of the trip. Last year we raised four babies and a mama for the humane society. Emails said that we might be getting bottle babies this year. I guess we'll see.

You are welcome!  The weights are best to give in grammes, its easiest to see at a glance what they are.    :)

Thanks for the support everyone. Today at 2:30 we'll be picking up four bottle babies. I'll keep records on here as well as in my spreadsheet so don't feel the need to respond to every 'kitten -blank- weighs -blank- grams.

I'll post pics as soon as I can.

Two ginger boys, a grey boy and a grey girl. They've been eating glop pretty well, but they seem to prefer it out of a syringe. They're also taking the bottle pretty well.

Maybe three weeks? They didn't know so I'm just guessing.

How well are they walking and what do they weigh on average?

The girl is the smallest and she weighs 350 grams. They stumble more than walk, really, but can move well enough to play with each other. Their teeth have just started to poke through their gums.

Right on target for 3-week-olds with the weights, toddling, and teeth cutting! They should weigh about a pound at 4 weeks. They look very healthy! [emoji]128077[/emoji]

Hahahahaha...I saw these cuties yesterday and all I could think was "oh wait till Mamanyt1953 Mamanyt1953 sees these little ones". That little stripey tail on that lil ginger on the right is to die for [emoji]10084[/emoji]️[emoji]128062[/emoji][emoji]128062[/emoji][emoji]10084[/emoji]️!

At the shelter they said they had weepy eyes, but it seems to have stopped for now. Still, I'm treating them with Erythromycin until their next check-up on the 27th.

Good Lord, they are cute!  And I saw a little orange ringtail!  I am now a happy camper...

~mutters to self~  this is bordering on a real personality disorder...although an amusing and benign one~

They can walk now. They still want the bottle more than the gruel, though. The HS wants is to wean them now but I'm not convinced they're ready. I always keep my rescues with mom until they're at least ten weeks old.
