I think I'm going to pin my hopes on a Sunday or Monday delivery.

Okay, I only thought they were dropping before.  When I got home from work today they were MUCH lower
my sweet girl has always had real short legs, and now her belly is making them look even shorter, it's absolutely precious

Sorry about how dark the pic is, but she seems to spend most of her time alternating between sleeping and nibbling on food so I've been trying to keep it nice and comfy in her "nursery."  I just can't get over her short little legs with that big belly!
I'm not so tall myself so I probably shouldn't be laughing but it's just too cute.  She is finally really settling into her nesting box, and I'm hoping that's a sign that the time is growing near!

They do look like they've dropped. She should begin showing signs soon, it usually takes a day or 2 before the kittens come after.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who thinks they've dropped.  The only second opinion I've had on it was from my boyfriend, and his eyes are dilated from an eye exam so he's not the most reliable source right now
now that she's settling down and nesting I feel a lot calmer about everything

Look at this princess as a kitten
if every single one of her kittens looks just like her, I will be absolutely in heaven

So I got in the shower to get ready for work this morning, and Bastet started meowing like crazy. I get out and check on her, and along with discharge I notice my baby is having cintractions! First baby born at 8:40! Eagerly awaiting he second.

The kitten doesn't seem to be latching on to any nipples, is this a cause for concern?

Many momma cats wont let their kittens nurse until after they are done birthing the whole litter. If the kitten is still not latching on after the other kittens are born you may have to supplement it with a needless syringe and some KMR.

Yes, raina21 raina21 is correct.

You can also guide the kitten to a nipple if mom is lying down resting between deliveries.

It was an awesome surprise! And I've bought plenty of KMR just in case. She seems tired from her first set of contractions, but her stomach is still rippling so I'm sure that the others will be here soon!

He seems to have found one he's happy with, just in time for momma's contractions to start again.. Lol. Any advice for sexing newborns? Or is it pretty much wait and see?

Alright [emoji]128522[/emoji] I'll probably let my vet tell me when I bring them in for their 4 week check up
