I'm feeding 10 raw fed cats right now, and have acquired a few treat dispensing toys that I know my cats will love.

I haven't bought commercial treats or food in forever.  Obviously, raw meat (or even cooked meat) is a not good option for these types of toys :D

Since this is a few times a week thing, and only a little bit of treats will be fed, I was hoping for some suggestions as to what to use, as far as treats (or even kibble) go.

Or, if anyone has a recipe out there for crunchy-type cat treats, I would be thrilled to see it (come to think of it, I would strongly prefer to make my own!)

Any suggestions or ideas?  Thank you all in advance!

Awesome, thank you!!! this will be very helpful. Much appreciated  =^..^=

I especially like the idea of freeze dried!  Do you think this would hurt a cat with chronic constipation if it were very small amounts?

Orijen makes freeze dried cat treats that are pretty small and would likely fit in a cat treat toy. Orijen also has regular freeze dried treats for dogs that are bigger that you could break up. They're just meat, so no issues using the "dog" version for cats.

We feed a lot of PureBites in our household.
They're single-ingredient freeze-dried treats.  My two furbabies love the freeze-dried shrimp in particular.

We use a lot of Pure Bites, too. The cats also love the freeze-dried chicken heart treats from Good Lovin'; I buy them at Petco.

I also use freeze dried treats; PureBites is pretty easy to find in stores and on Amazon.
I have also bought freeze dried treats (100% meat) made for dogs. Tends to be a little cheaper and unless the treats are very hard (avoid jerky), I can break them apart for Ritz.
