Hello all. I stumbled upon this by accident and it may help everyone to get their cat(s) to drink more.

I recommend bottled / filtered water. ---Freeze Dried Chicken powdered----

Add water to canned / wet food then just sprinkle, a little powdered freeze dried chicken to the water and meal. A little goes a long way. If your cat likes chicken you'll see.

The chicken powder is at the bottom of the packaging. Since the chicken is freeze dried it will powder and crumble easily. I think the finer the better, think dirt / saw dust fine. Your cat will not need much a lite sprinkle then add as necessary. Hydrate, dilution the pollution.  PU surgery sucks. Good luck and Good health for all our feline friends xoxoxoxoxo.

I automatically add filtered water to my guys' canned food ALWAYS, no matter what kind of canned food it is...pate, chunks, slices.  Then, if they aren't inclined to eat for whatever reason, I might sprinkle on some of that freeze dried chicken, or sometimes all I need to do is give them a little bite of the chicken, and it gets their appetites started and they'll dive in without the sprinkles.
But cats do need to drink, so any assistance is good

What really counts is that the water has the lowest percentage of minerals, otherwise it can damage the cat's urinary system.
