We rescued this little girl, Charlotte, at 3 weeks old. She was underweight, had an eye infection and upper respiratory infection. She's 6 weeks old today, and thriving. My question is regarding her possible eye color. I've personally never seen a colorpoint with anything other than blue eyes. But it looks like hers are trying to change, I see a little light green on the edges. No clue who the father is, we have never seen a colorpoint in the feral colony. The mother is solid black, as is most of the 15+ colony members. Obviously the parents carried the genes though. Her markings have continued to develop over the last few weeks as well. The vet said she looked like she had Siamese in her and she thought her eyes would stay blue. Attached are pics of her at 3 weeks and today at 6 weeks.

She seems to be on good way to become a nice, perhaps even very good, look alike of a ragdoll.

And ragdolls are known their eyes arent always very blue.  There are strains with green-bluish eyes.

So, although the parents are non points, but "just" carriers, its here an indicium there may be a real ragdoll ancestry not too far ago.  A granddad perhaps.

Bless you for rescuing Charlotte. What a precious baby. She is so sweet, give her lots of hugs. Welcome to you, TCS is wonderful and you will enjoy it. I am not sure what she will look like as she grows. Keep posting more pics of her.

The eyes are  more clearly blue, the body sleekish - may be sooner a siamese old type "thai", but ragdoll still possible - as look alike.
