Do you have a funny shot of your cat being under something interesting? Maybe your cat was wearing a hat? Perhaps you strategically placed the remote on a sleeping kitty? Any picture with a cat that has something on top of him or her,  that's funny, cute and very obviously did NOT cause a cat any harm or stress, is fair game for this contest! You have a full week for submissions, so you certainly have time to stage some funny photos

The sponsor for this contest is -

Bravo

The winner will be getting two cans of Bravo’s new Feline Cafe meals. Each recipe is grain and gluten free. These complete and balanced, natural dinners feature delicious cuts of meat or poultry as the first ingredient!

Prizes can be shipped within the US only but please don't let that stop you from joining in the fun! If you win, I'm sure we can think of a US-based shelter you can donate the prize to (or even to another TCS member!).

Submissions will be accepted through Saturday, May 21st

The Rules:
  1. Choose the best picture you have for our monthly theme and post it to this thread. Please mention the cat's name!

  2. Image needs to be clear and not too small. 480 pixels high by 640 pixels wide minimum.  Larger is better.

  3. One submission per member please

  4. No special effects, borders, graphics or text on the pictures.
Photos will not necessarily be monitored during the contest. If your photo fails to comply with the above rules we may have to exclude it from the voting stage.

Our cats are ALL amazingly beautiful! This friendly photo contest is about the way in which the cat is captured in the picture. We're not looking for professional photography, but do try to keep things like image quality, lighting and composition in mind.

Good luck everyone!

Oh dear.

My scars have only just disappeared after the Trump Your Cat thread and now I have to try and get my feral beasties to let me balance things on them?

lol, whoops! Use the photo from the Trump Your Cat! Don't get any more scars!

Oh golly, I may end up having to sit this one out - I'm 99% sure I don't have any pics that fit this one. Unless I can manage to take a pic before the deadline, and knowing my kitties that wouldn't happen :lol3:

Oh wait, I lied! In going through my mobile pics, I came across this one (I'll post the one now, and the one of his brother after the deadline).

This is Oliver, after he came home from being neutered, on August 25th of last year (he and his brother were 13 weeks old). The boys wouldn't stop licking themselves, and I didn't know what to do! So mom, in her infinite wisdom, fashioned some e-collars out of plates :lol3: Oliver took a bit longer than his brother to wiggle out of it.

I've looked through all my Mouse photos and can't find anything other than this one - and don't know it it fits the criteria @Anne  .  Mouse decided he wanted to be under me, and crawled between my knees when I was kneeling on the floor. He was pretty young at the time but he does this regularly, even now.  He's a strange cat.

buried in jewels...
Lovely photo and I'm sure Butler was safe under your full supervision. Just wanted to mention for the benefit of cat owners who may stumble upon this page and picture in the future that cats should not be allowed to play with beads and similar items unsupervised. Even with supervised play, you have to know your cat and trust him or her not to try and chew on (and accidentally swallow) a bead. If you have a "chewer" on your hands, keep such items away from reach.

Sorry about the interruption and again, this is in no way a reflection on you @Seventhheaven  ! I'm sure you keep Butler safe and sound!

Snugglebug Sundar in one of his favourite positions (yes, he is upright and wedged into the pillows.

I should explain that by 'upright' I mean just that.. the pillows are up against the wall and his bottom is on the bed.. the cushion is up against him.  He's a very funny boy....
