Safe plants

I want to place a couple of plants at the base of a cat tree. Should I do live or fake. I have always thought a cat would appreciate a small "jungle" to crouch under.

You may want to plant fake depending an what you wanted.  Most ferns are no-nos, same with hostas.  Natural grasses may be okay and will create some hiding spaces.  I recommend googling each plant before you buy it.
