I wasnt sure where to post this but this sub felt like the best place. Soo while im waiting on my latest addition to grow up and continue to get great advise from the forum members, i wanted to show everyone the castle i build for my cats.
It took roughly 50hours and about 150$. I had no dimensions to go off of so i had to wing it and build it to fit the room i have it in.
Finished
The beginning
When it started to come together
Start of the inside
Pillars put on
Pillars notched and see through windows cut
The inside completed
The beginning of the worst part. The carpet :-/ it was seriously horrible.
I had to do it in sections because the whole thing is so large that it cant fit through my doors so i had to make the pillars removable
The carpeted inside
The finished product with cats
So all and all my cats love it and they never stop suprising me with how the use it, poping their heads out the windows to meow, playing king of the castle with each other and just relaxing on it.
Oh the can go inside the pillars so i carpeted the inside of them plus i added cat beds.
