Happy Mothers Day to all at TCS

I'm just seeing this.  It's a little late, but Happy Mother's Day!  

I had a wonderful Mother's day, although I didn't get to see either of my children. But they both called. Our daughter send me a card and some jewelry in the mail. Our son had planned to come to church and bring his family, but had a last minute problem with one of the kids. He told me they bought me a gift so we will try to maybe meet them half way between where we live sometime in the next week.

A woman I went to school with has a daughter whose family goes to our church. We got invited to eat and spend the afternoon with them at her house. There was a crowd of folks, but we knew them all. It was a wonderful meal and good fellowship.

My husband made me a Mother's Day card, gave me money and a Flex Fitbit.

I am truly blessed. :nod:

That does sound nice.      I had breakfast with my mom and sister, and our spouses.  At the end of the meal, the waitress came over and gave each of us women a little impatiens plant.  They were giving them out to all the female customers as a Mother's Day gift, how nice was that!    

My husband and daughter painted a picture for me on a big canvas and even included Lilly's paw prints! How cute haha. Apparently Lilly liked the paint more than my daughter did
