That does sound nice.I had a wonderful Mother's day, although I didn't get to see either of my children. But they both called. Our daughter send me a card and some jewelry in the mail. Our son had planned to come to church and bring his family, but had a last minute problem with one of the kids. He told me they bought me a gift so we will try to maybe meet them half way between where we live sometime in the next week.
A woman I went to school with has a daughter whose family goes to our church. We got invited to eat and spend the afternoon with them at her house. There was a crowd of folks, but we knew them all. It was a wonderful meal and good fellowship.
My husband made me a Mother's Day card, gave me money and a Flex Fitbit.
I am truly blessed.
