I have searched the internet about fractured jaw bones in a cat and i'm not finding the answers i need. If anyone has any feedback I greatly appreciate it. My cat is  a 3 year old tabby and we adopted her when she was 4 months old. She is treated and loved as if she was my child so I may be over reacting. Yesterday, as I was walking in the door she tried to dart out and I did not see her and shut the door on her face. When i realized what happened i looked down she was spinning in circles with her mouth opened. Then she shut it and ran inside. She has been acting normal playing, eating (hard food), drinking, purring. However, she seems a little swollen around the mouth and she will not let me examine her teeth to see if any are broken. There as been no signs of blood but the injury is only 24 hours old. She has been taken to the vet regularly but I don't want to panic and waste money. Will a cat act normal but still have a fracture jaw bone or dislocation? If, so is there any signs I can watch for? I would greatly appreciate any feedback.

I can't say for sure that's not what has happened. But I've seen fractured jaws and they looked like much more dramatic injuries than what you're describing. Those patients usually required surgery and feeding tubes. But I'm not a doctor and I'd advise a vet visit if things persist.
