Hi I am having a kinda same problem again. Mother cat is leaving kittens alone all day only feeds them 2 times a day for about 5 min and leaves. I feed her well and everything but she is being aggressive with me again I don't know what to do with this cat she is kinda stressing me out. All of the kittens are hungry and I ran out of kitten formula the pet store is closed which is the only store with kitten formula. Walmart stopped selling kitten formula I don't know what to do. I also don't have goat milk. She is in my house but will get angry if you touch her also she is a stray cat that I brought into my home so she could feed the kittens all she does is wander around. Any ideas on what I can do. Does anyone know why she is leaving her kittens at 4 months. Another issue I ran out of cat food if not I would of fed them that. One of the kittens will not eat milk or solid food only will eat mothers milk. Thank you for the response I know this is a long question. So sorry

If the kittens are 4 months old, mom is done feeding them. As far as she is concerned, they are weaned, and in fact, they need to be eating cat food now.

How many kittens are there? What have they been eating? Do you at least have dry food for them? They need to be eating wet food and dry food now.

The mom needs to be spayed. Can you get her fixed? She may be pregnant again already.

Do you have a can of evaporated milk? An egg? You can make some formula if so. Let me know. I'll tell you what to do.

Or do you have a can of tuna fish? The cats need to eat!

When can you get to the store for cat food?

Did you mean 4 weeks old? I just looked back at your older threads. If kittens are only 4 weeks old, you need to give them formula. Mom is probably leaving them because she is in heat again. They need food right away until you can buy some more formula. What do you have in the house?

I see that you are desperate. Do you have milk? Take 1/4 cup of milk. Add 1/4 cup of water. Whisk in 1 egg. Add 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar or honey. Whisk it up. Feed this to the kittens. Make more if necessary. Get to the store tomorrow!

Let me know if this helps for tonight. You must feed the kittens! Mom can drink this too tonight.

Are you getting my messages? Are you able to whisk this up to feed the kittens?

Please let me know as I am very concerned for you!

Thanks!

Hi thank you! Yes I ment 4 week old's  she fed them for a bit before they fell asleep. She is not in heat as I can see she is just not caring for the kittens. I might have to get her another family and care for the kittens since they now can eat solid food. She is rarely with them. Tomorrow I am buying KMR Or GNC since last time they didn't have KMR is it as good as KMR? Once again thanks for response I really appreciate your help.

Yes, PetAg or GNC formula is good. Also get dry kitten chow and wet food. Mom needs spaying, but it would be good if she could keep feeding her kittens for a couple more weeks. They still need kitten chow, formula, and wet food though.

Thank you for caring for them!

Let me know how they are tomorrow. Use this same thread. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

I think mom should really be spayed now. They can get pregnant without going into heat. I also think you should take over full feeding care for these kittens.

Yes I am for sure going to feed them full time or else they are going to get weak for not eating. The cat im going to spay her and give her away to an animal shelter this isn't working with her.

Did the kittens eat the glop?

Have you gotten to the store now?

Bottle or syringe?

I agree you can no longer count on mom. Can you keep mom in when she comes back? Put her in a carrier and get her to a spay appointment. She will calm down after she is spayed.

I thought the kittens were already in the house.

That's great. Are you keeping them in all the time now?

Can you post some photos?

Thank you for all that you're doing!

You'll need to feed this kitten with a syringe.

What are the kittens eating from a bowl?

Is mom cat back inside now?

Did you get to the store?

No The cat is not inside and they are drinking Formula GNC  there was no KMR. Yes I did go to the store. The female cat just pushed the kitten off and he fell off and hit his little head. I am not home most of the time. But I try the possible to feed them when there hungry.

I'm having a really hard time following this thread. Can you do a quick recap?

You have how many mom cats? How many kittens each? Age? And how/where are moms and kittens?

Yes I will give you the information of them. Right now is only one problem with a mama cat. There are 7 orange kittens in her litter. Which are almost 5 weeks 3 more days until they reach the final 5 weeks.

The kittens are outside right now I let them out for a bit so they can play and poo and pee in litter box since they been pooing everywhere. The mom is outside right now maybe at the park she just fed them. They are now doing great. If you have any more questions of these kittens I will answer them. Just that the mom rarely feeds them and having some problems.
