Do you plan to adopt a female kitten so you can mate them?
Yeah when he grows so he don't go out...Do you plan to adopt a female kitten so you can mate them?
Please reconsider this plan. It is incredibly difficult and unpleasant to have a breeding pair. The male will spray and the female will go into heat. Your male and your female will be at risk for reproductive cancer and infection. They also must be kept separate all of the time except for when they are breeding for the health of the female.Yeah when he grows so he don't go out...
okay thanks for the info... it's nice to know... I will do that.. I will definitely get him a friend.. but not now cos I can't afford at the moment...Please reconsider this plan. Breeding should only be done responsibly by those who can afford and access excellent vet care, and only to further cat breeds by usin parents with excellent genetics. Your kitten is not in excellent health. Kittens are also very expensive, both in terms of supplies you need and veterinary care you will need to provide.
I think getting your cat a friend is a great idea, but only if both are spayed and neutered. It is for their health and happiness, and yours.
In addition, your cat has no inclination towards being a father. If you cannot neuter him, he should be an only cat and stay inside 100% of the time.
Then you definitely do not want kittens! They are sooooo expensive.okay thanks for the info... it's nice to know... I will do that.. I will definitely get him a friend.. but not now cos I can't afford at the moment...
