That sounds like a good plan!

Good luck tomorrow! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

She's going into labor!!

*edit:

One kitten just literally popped out. She was hiding under the bed then got really freaked out, jumped up, rolled around and PLOP. Kitten.

Oh, brother! Let's hope they all are born tonight. She popped this one right out. Let's hope the others are just as easy. Keep us posted on the progress.

Little fuzznugget finally found a nipple and is latched on, Bliss is panting pretty hard so the next one may be coming soon.

Once she's all done and everyone's had a good eat and a nice nap, I'll move them to the box I made in the closet.

I'm late but I was going to say she sounds like she's in labor when you mentioned her being vocal and wanting belly rubs. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Hope all are delivered safely!

Since it takes awhile between kittens, how on earth will I know she's done?

Rule of thumb is 12 hours from the last one, but Wendy Delmo had one born after that. Wendy's was an exceptionally large litter, though.

When we went to the clinic, the vet said she thought it may be a small litter, maybe two? They don't have an xray thing since it was a spay/neuter clinic.

She's doing well, as far as I can tell. Chitters and talks to me sometimes, sleeps, pays attention to the kitten. Doesn't seem to be in distress.

Oh my goodness!  HelloMissKitty said for me to get myself over here, that there were kittens coming!  You'll have to excuse me.  i have a heavy addiction to kittens, and their widdle tails are my "drug of choice!"  And you have not let me down!  I'll be glued here now, watching your little family grow.  Looks like things are under control, and unless the colors are way way off, little Fuzznuggets is a beautiful little tortie girl!

I have to get offline for the night, but I will be here tomorow for the updates!

Oh, how sweet! Look at that little nose! Congrats! [emoji]128149[/emoji]

The baby is likely a male, unless the dad was orange too!

Continue with the plan we discussed for tomorrow, unless she's actively laboring.

Keep us posted! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Righto. I've already got the bathroom prepped with the carrier, no matter the outcome.

I guess I shouldn't be worried another kitten hasn't shown up by now?

No, don't worry. If she has another one, it could come tonight, tomorrow, or the day after. If she's not in distress, she's okay!

Just don't move her if she appears to be in labor or pushing.

It's going to be okay - really!

How is she now?

Phew. Good to know it's not too much of a worry, then!

She's laying down with the kitten, licking him at the moment. Every once in awhile she'll start panting pretty heavily, but it's stopped since I turned the fan on for her.  Still talking and purrrrrping at me quiet a bit.

Sometimes cats continue to pant for a day or two after giving birth. Or, it could be more labor.

Can you give her a dish of KMR to drink? That usually helps the panting. Has she eaten since having the baby?
