Sounds like she's laboring. Expect another kitten. Prepare to bed down on the floor with her tonight in a sleeping bag. Ripples are labor.

Will do!

My husband should be home any minute, he managed to get off early tonight. Once he gets home she may want him more than me, I get the feeling she only put up with me since I'm the only one home and this little gal is 100% his baby, haha.

Oh, nice. Site is back up.

She's panting pretty hard for the last 30 minutes, like she's going in a trance. Her second eyelid thing keeps moving to cover her eyes while their open.

Yes, he's been home for the past hour. I'd love a break to be able to take a nap, but he's being squimish, and Bliss decided to follow me to the bed even with him next to her.

What about the sleeping bag? It looks like she doesn't want you to leave her, and she needs to stay with her kitten to keep it warm. The kitten can't regulate its temperature yet.

I have it down by her, my husband had just offered to take first watch at the time, until he saw the old blanket she plopped a kitten out on, and the final straw being her trying to follow me.

She's going back to sleep again, so I'm sitting in the desk chair less than a foot away. He told me to wake him up in a few hours to see if she'll let him sit by her so I can get proper sleep before I drive, but I dunno if I'll do it.

If your cat is sleeping, you need to sleep too. Sorry the site went down for awhile. Let us know how things are going in the morning!

Woke up to another kitten being born!

She's very quick, and pretty silent until the thing is right there. She keeps rolling around, though.

Edit* make that two. She just popped out another

*edit three!

Just found and read through this thread.  What a surprise to adopt a cat from a shelter and become kitten grandparents not long after!  Looking forward to more kitten pictures.

It sounded like she was laboring last night, so I'm not surprised. And that's why she wanted to be with you so badly. Mom plus three kittens!

How is the move going? Have you moved the cats yet?

Are all 3 kittens latching and nursing well?

Oh, my goodness!

Does she seem done?

Are they nursing, and how's mom holding up?

All six are latched and nursing, after some fighting over space.

We haven't moved them yet, I waited until she has stopped having kittens for awhile to even go get the truck, so we're in the process of packing it. She's still in the closet and pretty happy about it.

We've got four orange and whites, and two calicoes, one may possibly be a tuxedo. Hard to tell at the moment.

Pardon, three oranges, two calicoes. Seems I've miscounted the squirming little things.
