main coon cut / patch problem..

My maine coon cat has had a problem for a year and i am at a loss to know what to do.  

He has a massive cut/patch with no skin under his chin on his neck.  

When it scabs up he scratches it off and screams, and blood flies everywhere.

I've tried Vet products, bandages, honey, aloe vera, you name it.    

He is looking ill and very unhappy, and sprays allot.

what can i do?

Have you taken him to the vet?

twice.

i'm in spain - they just said  "you have a problem - keep it clean"  and shrugged their shoulders and tried to sell me some Bayer product for 25 euros.

Can he wear a cone until it's healed? Does he stay inside?

Neutering could help with the spraying.

I agree with him wearing a cone while you give it a chance to heal. This scratching sounds awful.
