Hello my 9 week kitten has been walking weird with her right hind leg arched so she doesn't walk on it and I'm concerned whether it's sprained, twisted, or broken. I definitely will take her to the vet in a couple days if it persists but has anyone else had any experience? She seems to be licking herself a little more but she's still just as playful but not as wild since she has a hurt foot but I also know that cat's can mask their pain. If anyone has any advice of what to look for or home treatments it would be really appreciated!

How long has she been doing that? Is any particular spot painful if you touch it? Are you aware of anything she could have done to hurt it, like falling off something or getting her foot stuck somewhere? I'd definitely recommend taking her in sooner rather than later. Cats are great at hiding their pain and kittens are even better at it. It's pretty concerning that she's unwilling to use that leg at all. Poor kitty, I hope it's nothing serious!

Kittens play hard and she might've just hurt it in play.  However, if she's not playing normally, that's an indication that she's not well.  I'd go ahead and get her to the vet sooner rather than later.  Keep us posted on how she's doing.

Update:

She still is limping a little and doesn't put too much pressure on the leg but when she is playing she can run normally and does everything else normally. Still watching her with a careful eye.
