Please don't use valium on your cat, it is used to control seizures in cats, but very, very small amounts are used then, so small that it has to be compounded into liquid, I am an Animal Behaviorist, but cannot diagnose behavioral issues without ruling out a medical cause I would say at least 90% of behavioral issue are caused from a medical issue , such as the cat being in pain, please take your kitty to a competent, caring veterinarian and advise them of what is happening, please don't use the valium as it would be very easy to illl your cat with even a small dose, valium depresses breathing among other things, and is not the drug of choice , even if it were truly a behavior problem, if you want to write back and let me know what is going on,I may be able to guide you, but again , most aggressive behavior has an under lying medical issue

Sincerely

A

I think Prozac and Clomicalm are more commonly used for behavioral issues. I haven't used behavioral meds myself, but I've heard from several people who do and they say that once you find the right medication, it can really make a difference. Not like an instant change, but it at least helps the pet to remain mentally together so they don't freak out about stuff.

Worth a try anyway! Ask your vet which med they think would be best to try first.
