hey guys! so my move to england has been put off indefinitely for now, so i thought.. what's the harm in one more rescue??

my mom found someone giving away this baby for free tonight. said she had to go ASAP. we go to pick her up, the lady hands her to us and says "she's all yours" without even talking to us for a minute. like seriously? we could have been ANYBODY. but i guess it's better than dumping her on the side of the road or something.

so we bring her home and check her out, and she's clawing her hair out because of fleas, and she's super skinny and wormy. she has flea dirt all over her, too. and the first thing she does is go over to the bowl of kitten food and start chomping down. seriously, even seeing my adult cats for the first time doesn't even deter her.

meet Ellie!

she's got wet food all over her nose, lol.

she didn't even have a name... i thought Ellie is pretty cute.

this kitten is the MOST patient lil girl ever. i went to get some emergency supplies, like some flea meds and dewormer for her, and she chilled on my shoulder the entire time. i'm picking out stuff and going around the aisles and she's just sitting on my shoulder, taking everything in stride. i got some high quality wet kitten food for her too and she LOVED it. ate the whole can. and she's already used the litter box. literally, this kitten is such a sweetheart!

i'm planning on rehoming her once she's a little healthier. thought i would give her a week or two.

edit: here's some better pics!

This kitten is absolutely precious. She is so lucky that a good person like you came to her rescue. I hope you find her a wonderful forever home, she deserves nothing but lots of love. Let us know what happens to her.
