Twoface, Josephine, Tootles, Rugrat, Joy and Jet were adopted. Not only that, but PeeWee and Queenie are foster failures and get to stay in their home they grew up in! Yay.   : )

Cade, Kip, Shrimpy, Tamone, and Nutmeg (YAY) all got to find their homes in the past few days! I'm so happy for all of them. Hanna may have also been adopted, but I'm not sure yet.

A sweet 1-year-old female, Butters was surrendered because her house burned down.   :  (

But at least now she is up for adoption and can hopefully find a wonderful new home!

Sycamore and Grisham have been adopted!!!

Shayna's apparently fell-through, since she is still there. Hopefully someone else will take her.

That's great. You had a real run on grey cats for a while there, didn't you? I'm glad Shayna went to a new home.

Hanna is lovely, such pretty ear tufts!

Yep, lots of greys and grey tabbies. Kitzer is grey as well.

He has scar-tissue on one eye, hints the foggy color, but his other eye is okay.

Leila (also spelled Laila) is back from foster and up for adoption. The poor girl is so scared, hopefully she can find a home quickly that will help her come out of her shell. She's such a little thing.

Eartha, on the other hand, isn't afraid to run around like the silly cat she is. So friendly and gorgeous, she won't last long here. She's a sweet little kitty with such a unique pattern.

Kitzer has someone interested in him! We only have like four cats in the Cat Room currently (Sparkle, Kitzer, Pearl, and Eartha) and only three up Front.

Lots of great adoptions before and after Christmas, which is kind of surprising, I would have thought more people would adopt during Summer Break, but I guess during the winter spending more time indoors means more time with a new animal.

It's nice that so many cats are going to be starting the new year in a new home.

Ivan is adorable. I love that serious expression of his.

Love this thread, just spent a long time skimming and reading the stories. Thank you so much for sharing. I would love to do volunteer work some day. I think it would be hard to part with the cats after getting to know them, but knowing they are going to forever homes would be comforting, and with new animals always in need of help I'm sure there's never a dull moment. There is a Buddhist saying that the heart of one man is the heart of all men--and I think that the heart of one cat is the heart of all cats. If you help one, you help all. If you love one, the love you had for other cats is still with you in the present.

You're doing such important work, it's admirable. Happy Holidays and New Year!
