Kitten Face Bump

Hello all. I have a foster litter of bottle babies that were dumped at a shelter. They were out in a bucket through the night and morning. One kitten had a bump on the bridge of his nose, it was covered in fur before and had a pin prick looking bit on it, that has recently opened and become red/scabby. None of the other kittens have any irritation or redness. We don't have approval yet for a vet visit but a nurse friend said it looks like a insect bite. It does not bug him unless it's touched so it must be a bit sore. We've put antibiotic on it and have kept it clean. Any thoughts on it?
