How can an owner tell how far along her cat is in her pregnancy?

You cant. :( Unless you knew when she mated. Maybe show some pictures so we could possibly estimate by the size of her stomache.

Are her nipples pinked up? When did you notice? Is she showing? When did you notice her showing? Have you seen kitten movement yet?

By answering these questions, we may be able to estimate approximately how far along she is.

Hello :-)

If you can see the kittens movements in the womb, it means you're in in the last two weeks of gestation.
You can also see the behavior of your cat if it runs continuously in the house trying to find a corner rather dark and very comfortable, is that she will soon give birth.

I hope this will help you! And if not, to have kittens a week, I advise you to be extremely attentive to them once they are there :)

I noticed about 3 weeks ago that she is showing and over the past few days she's been getting increasingly larger but no movement in her belly. She's been overly moody growling at everyone. Her nipples are also getting larger but she is a long haired black cat so it's hard to see them. I will try to post pics

Then she was probably 4-5 weeks pregnant 3 weeks ago. So that makes her 7-8 weeks now. If you're not seeing kitten movement yet, she probably has a couple of weeks left. Cat pregnancy averages 65 days. Have you made nests for her? You should get a can of powdered KMR by PetAg in the house, and a 1-2 mL syringe, in case you need to supplement. Mom can have a dish a day now for the calcium.
