What do I do in for the week until my cats deworming appointment?

I have a two year old cat and a six month old kitten who I discovered today both have worms after seeing small rice shaped pieces coming out of their behinds. No symptoms have been shown and they have both been acting their usual loving selves. They have veterinary appointments at the ASPCA but that will not be until next week. I've read other websites about quarantine but I live in a small one bedroom apartment with nowhere to do that and they are both indoor cats. What should I do with them for the week until they are treated? Please help!
