I will make sure I find great homes for all the kittens. I will do vet checks on everyone.

Is it common for kittens eyes to open at 3 days old?

Minimum 8 weeks, but preferably 10-12. Your kittens are only 2 weeks old right now. They also need to be fully weaned and litter trained. Only re-home them to people you know who will have them vaccinated and spayed/neutered.

That's great! I'm glad to hear that. Kittens are much better socialized and do better when they stay with mom longer. They learn kitten manners from her!

It's amazing how each kitten at 2 weeks old has it's own little personality. They are so adorable and sweet.

The kittens are eating really good and using the litter box now. My problem is the mom cat is so skinny now. She has dry kitten food all the time and is eating 2 cans of cat food a day. But I'm afraid that nursing these kittens anymore is going to kill her. She is skin and bones. Can I or should I stop the babies from nursing now?

No, but give mom 4 cans a day. Also give her a dish of KMR each day. She can also have plain, full fat yogurt, boiled eggs chopped up, pieces of boiled chicken, goat cheese. She needs as much as she wants to eat while nursing, but do not stop the nursing.

I will try eggs, but she is very picky eater. I give her chicken, She just won't eat any more then 2 cans a day plus a little bit of chicken
