First off my family and I have 3 cats wea absolutely adore!
About a week ago my daughter says she found a "bump" on our cat "Nellie" above her eye where eyebrows would be. So my wife and I go to inspect it and it look like a tiny red spot and thought maybe she scratched it on something and didn't worry about it.

Yesterday we found 2 more that look the identical but now the "bumps" look to be "crusty" or scabed over.

Today we found 2 more on the opposite side that look the same as others and also a weird spot inside her ear. She doesn't seem to be in pain and is eating and drinking normally. I've googled so much stuff but can't seem to figure out what it is. We really want to take her to the vet but money is very tight right now and I know we couldn't afford it at this time!

Does anyone have a clue what this could be or what I could do to til we can afford to take her to the vet?

Thanks

I had a cat that had always been kept indoors who got spots like this on/in/near his ears, turned out to be mites. The scabs come from her scratching at it, very easy to treat and I'm pretty sure there's some at home remedies if you can't afford a vet. But don't take my word for it 100%, all cats and cases are different and you should take her to a vet if it progresses because mites are contagious to other cats.

Ear mites leave a black waxy substance in the ear, look for it before treating. There are many things it could be, including scabies(I pray not) or as simple as wounds from scratching. You have three cats so it very well could have come from a slight 'tussle' with another cat.You might try some hydrocortisone cream it should be safe to use in that area, or a triple antibiotic might help, too, that is what I would start with. It could be a rash from some kind of irritation, there are just too many things it could be. I hope someone can help you that has had this condition on their cats before, all the luck!

Could be allergies, food allergies, flea allergies, or something more serious like ringworm.  I would get her to the vet for a good diagnosis and plan of action.

Please don't use any medications for humans without clearing it with a vet first.  I'm sure she is very uncomfortable.  I hope you can bring her in soon.  They really need to do a skin scraping for diagnosis.

We have made her a vet appointment and the earliest they could see her is tomorrow at 3:45pm. Hopefully will find some answers and it won't be nothing too serious.

We're getting pretty worried because they are looking worse today. We don't ever see her scratching at the sores but she as to be cause one minuet they are scaby the next they look wet.

I'll attach a picture i just took of one of them. We just trying to stay with her to make sure she doesn't mess with them till her appointment.
