Hello everyone :)

My bf and i have found a stray cat in the basement parking of our apartment.  Actually, she found us.. she came running out of no where to our legs meowing and looking for pets.  For about 2 days i would go and bring food+water down to the basement as well as play with her.  When i would leave her, she would follow me and meow much louder than normal.. which made me feel so bad!  So on the 3rd day I decided to take her in.

Now, we have had her for about 3 weeks (she's an indoor cat) and we love everything about her.  She is extremely friendly and she cannot get enough belly rubs!  She never runs and hides from us and i've never seen her hiss.  I have not been much of a cat person but she has completely changed me, we have fallen for her.

Is she spayed?  If not that should be an absolute priority.  She might be going into a heat cycle.

As for the meowing, if she was a stray and always hungry, it takes them awhile to get used to eating and always having food.  Many stray cats who had to search high and low for food and always look over their shoulder take awhile to get used to having food available to them.

What are you feeding her and how much?  Also how much does she weigh?

Her thinning fur could be from lack of nutrition.  It's best to have the vet examine her.

She most definitely is not a feral and she must have had human contact.

She is very lucky to have found you.  Cats have a way of finding their perfect owners.
