Hmmmmm. Sounds like your trying enough things. I know you said that you don't allow him in the bedroom, but that is the only way my husband and I get any peace. We have 6 cats and they all have their spot on the bed. Our most active cat sleeps with my arm around her with her head on my chest. She needs to feel my skin before she'll settle down and sleep. She's like a human baby. Lol. The rest of them have their favorite spot as well.

I guess if none of my attempts work I'll let him sleep in here. He's normally very quiet but now he even meows at me to get attention. And I'm like darn I taught him to meow for attention.

Edit: also I'm not a morning person but he is. The struggle lol.

Oh no! Lol. Sometimes their meows can sound like they're yelling at us. I sure hope you get a routine that works for both of you soon. Keep us posted, please.

Omgggg I hope I find his fav toy cause my neighbours will complain They even complain because I flushed the toilet too much. Seriously.
This is Lilith and Sophie's #1 favorite toy. Your neighbors will hate it but that's their problem.

It's also available at Wal Mart for about $7

Toys come tomorrow, also a roomba. It might scare him but boy am I excited to clean without me being there. Who knows maybe he will ride the roomba as a bonus.

Roombas can be a pain to set up. (I had to use one when I was taking care of my ill aunt.) Personally, I prefer vacuums. Sure, they're more labor intensive--but you also don't have to rescue them when they get in a corner (literally) and won't turn around. Man, I hated that thing. I do agree with Rhondalee though; I'd love to see a vid of your cat and the roomba!

my cat is the same way, but he prefers to go out on a leash. You can try training him to walk on a leash, walking outside it really tires them out:

I bought it used :/ it was 313 vs 450. I'm a little nervous of it breaking down because its used but I'm hoping it's like buying a used iPad. Perfectly fine? I have mild Cerebral palsy so any household chore like vacuuming and sweeping is really hard for me.

I own his twin, Marty. He is also 4 years old. Marty doesn't like toys like other cats. He could give a "rats-buttocks" to strings....he is a red point Siamese mix...more Siamese than red...he is just a sensitive boy...you just have to let him tell you what he wants. They are very smart so I'm guessing he notices the stress about you not allowing him in your bedroom....I would allow him free reign and tell your mom to deal with her issue....or just put comfortable blankets....he is a blanket guy...so I found a soft blanket that matched the color of his blue eyes...and we bonded over that...then in a year...he wanted to play with a ping bong ball in the bathtub....but now...all he wants to do...is talk...and hang out...he's to smart...he is wondering..."Mom if you don't play with the string why should I?"

I don't think I can do this. I agreed to make my cat indoor only. He wont even let me clean off his eye boogers let alone put on a harness.

Roman's too smart. He used to follow me into my room and now he knows not to try. I also taught him how to sit and to be quiet because I ignore his constant meows now. I'm hoping the Roomba 770 (with a HEPA air filter) will void my moms complaints. but thats not why I got it. I got it because of my physical limitations. Plus our apartment is changing to hardwood floors next year? landlord was like oh we are gonna provide hotels. Great now I have to worry about my cat and a hotel.
