Beware Aldi gourmet canned food

We bought some Aldi gourmet canned cat food on a lark to try since the ingredients were similar-ish to our usual FF classics pate. Cheaper too by a nickel. Well... no. They absolutely are not remotely similar. She was hungry all the time and begged for food constantly. She was not content and would act out to get our attention (or the stuff had crack in it cause she was crazy as heck) . When my alarm went off in the morning, she'd be at the bedroom door meowing like she was in pain. Eat in 2 minutes and back to meowing for more kitty crack.

We went back to FF classic pates last week and she's happy, eating her usual 3 oz can three times a day cause she's a piggy, and some mornings does not greet me until I walk into the living room. She eats slower and then takes a bath, rubs happily on me, then plays or naps some more. Completely different cat.

I do not know the difference between the two, but stay away from cheap Aldi cat food. Their people food is fine but not their "gourmet" cat food AT ALL.
