Yes, its easier to make good wet food than good dry food, so wet food is typically better than dry food.  And thus, its not the same need to find best possible food with wet as its with dry...

Almost any wet will be good enough.  Even Whiskas makes a decent wet food.   :)

Just be sure its no peculiar low fat version.

Also, there are versions of  organic inspired dry food, which are good as long as dry foods go. They also make corresponding wet food. How?  Its diluted in water...Ridicolous.

Half of contains in kibble isnt because its necessary to survive.  Its there to held the kibble together, to have something to build the kibble stones from.   But these ingredients arent at all necessary in wet cat food.  Grains are the most important example.
Thank you :)

One question, since she starts eating food other than milk, should I stop stimulating her or keep it up? If so, how long should I keep doing it? Thanks again :)

She should be able to go on her own once she is eating solids. That's when you start putting her in the litter box after meals and other times during the day to train her. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

I've been stimulating her in a litter box since she was about 3 weeks old. She recently started peeing in there whenever I put her in there but I have never seen her poop yet which is why I'm confused whether to stop stimulating or to keep up :)

Does she poop on her own outside the litter box? If she is eating solids she should have formed poops.

Okay, then continue. She will poop on her own when she is ready. Hopefully soon! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Yea, I can't wait till she does because she hates being stimulated. She screams and tries to get away or tries to climb up my hands lol. Poor kitty I feel bad, I have to keep telling myself "It's for her own good" :(

Here are some pictures of her now. She was starring at me sitting there staying still getting sleepier and sleepier so I got a chance to take some pictures of her :)

That black thing on the left is my dog lol just pointing out xD

She's getting so sleepy lol after a minute or two of this picture, she fell asleep right there :) I had to move her to the box since I wouldn't want her getting squished.

Just out of curiosity, will her eye colors stay that color or eventually change?

I am going to reverse what I told you before, after having time to read your thread more carefully.

Your kitten is now about 6 weeks old, and therefore can poop on its own, so no more stimulating. It should be eating enough solid food and milk to poop daily. The kitten needs to learn to poop on its own in the litter box now.

Most kittens this age are eating machines, and need small meals many times a day. I agree with Stefan, that if the kitten is not pooping frequently, it needs more food. The kitten needs access to kitten chow 24/7, and wet kitten food (such as Fancy Feast) mixed with KMR, several times a day. If there is constipation, you can add a drop or two of olive oil to the food.

How well is your kitten eating solids now? The kitten should only get a bottle after first being offered wet food.

The kitten is adorable! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Oh really? I was thinking she's like 4-5 weeks old since she still walks kinda wobbly but not as bad as when she was about 3 weeks old. :p It's nice to know her real age ! Thank you :)

Yea, I was just going to post about how yesterday, I stimulated her and she started pooping and moving around so much, I tried to put her in the litter box, she just started going on her own. Then just a few minutes ago, she just pee/poop on her own trying her best to cover her stuff but failed lol so cute :D

Yea, she eats a lot ! She just dives into the wet food bowl lol. Meanwhile, for the dry food, I didn't dilute it with water, she eats a little but plays with it more. She makes the food flies everywhere lol. She seems to be pooping well now. She did once yesterday and did it again today. Ops, I've been doing the opposite way of what you said, I've been bottle feeding her first and letting her eat wet food and stuff. Should I give her water via bottle feeding if the kitty doesn't drink on her own? She inhales it with her nose, sneeze, put her paw in it and freaked out lol, then loses interest in it. So if I'm to feed her wet food mixed with KMR, should I stop bottle feeding her then? Would it be possible to tell me how many hours apart should I feed her? I've been feeding her every 6 hours (4 times of feedings a day). Is it too far apart?

She's been eating solid food very well now. She knows when I open the can lol, she meows and runs to me and sometimes try to climb on me :p She eats till she gets a big belly then gets into a food coma and falls asleep in my arms :D

Awh, thank you :)

Feeding every 4-6 hours is fine. I'm glad she is now pooping on her own. Most kittens play with their dry food and water, but it's important to leave it down so they learn about both.

No need to give water in a bottle. She is getting her moisture from her wet food and her KMR, so she will not drink much water right now. Always offer the wet food before the bottle now. She needs solids first. If she's eating the wet food without KMR in it, that's fine too.

It sounds like she's doing well! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Sounds like she's made a lot of progress! If you are leaving dry kitten food down all the time, feeding wet meals every 4-6 hours sounds great.

For the litter box, offer a few options so she can always see one and make sure it's non-clumping litter.

Okay, I'll keep on feeding her every 6 hours since she's doing good with it. I'll feed her solid food first before feeding her milk.  And I'll have bother wet/dry food available for her :)

Ah, I see. I'll still leave water available for her anyways so she can drink it whenever she wants to.

Yea, I'm so glad she's doing well :D

Yea, she made a lot of progress within tiny amount of time ! The day before yesterday she needed help stimulating and now no more.

I'm using Oko cat litter for the litter box. It made a mush instead of a clump even though it said clumping litter. I watch her at all time so she won't eat it. But if you think I still should get a non clumping litter, is there any non-clumping litter do you recommend? If possible, no clay, please. I had a nightmare with my first litter I've ever used which was Precious cat litter, the blue one. It was so dusty that it almost made me sick., irritated my lungs, coughing on and off for a while and so on. If you know, any cheap litter that doesn't do that, please let me know. Oko cat is pretty pricy and I'd be happy to get some cheaper ones if it's possible.

This is the one I'm using:
At first (when she was younger), she tried to eat them but I stopped her from doing that of course. But now she'd try to eat them but spill them back out.

Yea :)

I'm using a clumping litter from Oko cat, the blue one. I watch her at all time so she won't eat it though. When she was younger, she'd try to eat them so I had to stop her. But now, she'd try sometimes but throws them back out. If you think, I still should get a non clumping litter, please tell me which one I should get. I was just searching for one on amazon and all I see are clumping litters even though I typed non clumping litter :( If possible, no clay please, because of horrible nightmare with Precious cat litter (blue color one), I'm now scared of using clay litter ever again. Precious cat litter was the first litter I used and it was okay at first then a few days later, it started getting so dusty that I couldn't breathe. Oh by the way, as I have some chick feed non medicated one, is it okay to use it for the kitty litter? Thank you very much ! :)

Sorry about the double post. I posted the one above and it said I can't post links or something like that and disappeared so I posted another one without a link. Anyways, the kitty no longer tries to eat the litter. I put her in there, she walks around, digs around, and do her business, then climb out. :)
