Dont know what to do

So my cat had a kitten at 1230am on Saturday the kitten was barely alive when born and died soon after. My cat cleaned it and everthing and would not let us have it even with it being died she kept it for about 10 hours. She still has not had anymore kittens and seem to be just overly clingy and wanting affection. I tryed calling the vet they are closed and dont have any er vets around i tryed message the number for help but have not got anything. What can i do for her

It is possible that she just had the one kitten.  This is normal.  Can you feel kittens continuing to move inside her?  It is also normal for moms to deliver on different days.  You don't need to worry unless she is showing signs of distress.  How is she?

Please keep mom 100% inside and away from intact males until she either delivers more or until she can be spayed.  She can get pregnant again within a week of delivery.

She is 100% indoor cat all the time and she refuses to leave my bed if I try to leave her she will bite me and growl at me her first kitten was delivered on my bed between my boyfriend and I and she's just been laying here wanting to be petted and wanting me to rub her belly I feel what could be another kitten

And the kitten that she had that died she would not give it up for about 10 hours she tried to take care of it and she laid with it so I don't know if that could have caused her to stop

Is very possible she has more, and the first was premature.  If they are so premature their lungs arent developed well, its exaclty so it looks, they are born alive but dies shortly after...

My guess is more will come. Continue to rub her belly, its one of the signs, aside from being a nice massage.

How did she get pregnant?

It doesn't sound like she's in physical distress.  Do you feel a kitten kicking?  It could also be that her uterus is stretched out and returning to normal, but feels a bit lumpy.

Its apparent her maternity instincs have kicked in.  She is surely a good mom.  If there arent more kittens, or just one or two, you may perhaps consider to let her be a foster mom?   Just be sure the fosterlings are reasonable healthy.  You dont want them for a litter where the others died from some horrible disease.

If not sure, rescuers typically raise such orphans themselves, by hand, even if they do have a perfectly good foster mom or dad. They dont take risks.

How is she doing now? I would stay with her..does she have litter box and food/water in your room? What about a nesting box IF she has another kitten?

I am sorry for the little one's loss. She sounds like she would make a great mom. I like the idea of having her foster other kittens if they are healthy and flea free.

That kitten looks a bit premature. Sorry for the loss.

Please consider fostering if she is able!

Yes she has food water and a litter box in my room and ahe has a box but will in go off the bed so i put plastic and a blanket down on my bed.

I cant tell if she still pregnant

The only way to know for sure would be to get an x-ray or ultrasound done at the vet. Otherwise, time will tell. Are her mammaries filling with milk? I can see they still look pink!

Yes she started having some milk come out if rubbed too long on her belly but she really wants her belly rubbed and thats not like her

That may mean she has another kitten or kittens to deliver.
