Me and gf have 2 cats a 6 year old and a 2 year old over ht elast month we have noticed with our 2 year old that one hear will become warm ( not hot but warm ) while the otehr will stay either cold or become warm aswell . We have had her at the vets and the vet said someothing about it being how cats regulate there temprature . my question for people is does anyone elses cat have this where one ear will become warm while the other stays cold or does become warm liek the other . She has been to the vets to have her ears checked and the vet could see nothing in it and didnt notice anything herself . so i am thinking om just over worrying abou it . aparrt from this she is a normla cat a little over weight ( 5.9kg ) and does like to sleep on the side where she gets the warm ear .

A littel advice on what to do or if i am just over or just some confirmation of if there is nothing wrong and its normal would be great

since you've already taken her to the Vet for this and your Vet said nothing was wrong, you're probably just worrying for nothing
.  Especially since the warm ear is the side she sleeps on.

I haven't noticed this in any of my cats, but then again, I don't go around and feel their ears much.  They don't particularly like my playing with their ears

We have a 2 year old little girl cata nda  6 year old male cat last week we noticed that our female and a bit of a fever ( one ear was really hot and nose was dry along with paws ) .

She was given a shot of anti biotics and anto inflamitory as a procaution and everyone was fine untill today she was fine this afternoon and early evening but now one ear is warmer that the other .

Apart from this she is being a normal cat eating drinking and playing using the litter tray and being herself apart formt hat .

My question is could it be me checking the ear that is making it warmer than the one or could it be something other than that .

she was given full check over at the vets and they checked inside the ear and nothing was found .

I do think you are over worrying.  As long as she's healthy and happy and eating, and the ears change temperature (so one isnt cold all the time or hot all the time), she should be fine.  I don't think the changing temperature of her ears means anything at all.  For your own satisfaction, you might try making notes of where she is or was each time you checked her ears and maybe you can get a clue, like if she's near a radiator one time, the ear on the radiator side will be warmer.
