I joined this site so that somehow I can share my grief with you.  As Im typing this, Im waiting for my rescued kitty to breathe its last. About a week ago someone dumped a box with 3 kittens, about 3 day old in front of my mother's house.  I gave one to a nursing queen and she accepted it albeit "grudgingly".  My mother advised me not to give her the other remaining two because she seems to became agitated and immediately relocated her other kitties. She feared that the mother cat would ultimately abandon all her kittens if we insisted giving her all three. I took upon myself to nurse the other remaining two.  Yesterday, the other one had died. And now Im waiting for the other one too

I am very sorry to hear of yours and your kittens plight.

The awesome thing about this site is if you could post this in the pregnant / cat care section some of the amazing experts might be able to give you some pointers to help try to save this cat.

Thank you for sharing the kittens story, so heartbreaking some one took such young kittens away from their mama.

I'm so sorry that you are going through this. Are you sure that this baby is dying?? have you been feeding him/her? If so, what? Is he'she being kept warm?

I have requested that this thread be moved to the pregnant cat and kitten care forum in case anything can be done.

Thank you for caring for these babies.

Kittens are successfully hand reared all the time. Please don't give up on this baby. have you read this article? http://www.thecatsite.com/a/hand-rearing-kittens-what-you-need-to-know-to-save-a-newborns-life
