Good morning!
 And Happy Friday!

As I sit here munching on my 5 ounces of grapes and drinking my morning coffee, I am wondering:  Do you eat breakfast? If so, what is your normal breakfast? Do you have a different breakfast during the week than you do on weekends?

Usually my breakfast consists of a sliced Granny Smith apple with my morning coffee. But I'm really starting to get tired of apples, so I switched over to grapes for awhile. And I've been trying to eat oatmeal now, too, cooked in the microwave. I bring everything to work and nuke it and have it here while checking out TCS. Just 1/2 cup of regular oatmeal with 1/2 cup skim milk....no sugar. Rick eats flavored instant oatmeal, but I eat the regular stuff.

I love going out for breakfast; I think I'd rather go out for breakfast than go out for lunch or dinner.

I always have a large cup of coffee and some oatmeal, always flavored. Brown sugar is my favorite but peanut butter works too. Weekends are the same.

I would love bacon and pancakes with warm syrup and butter but.....

Have a great day.

Breakfast consists of oatmeal, a roll and butter, or cheese and crackers. Once in a while I'll have poached eggs. We haven't had a toaster for over a decade, but lately I've been thinking about getting one again.

I make my oatmeal in the microwave, too - just plain old rolled oats and some water zapped for 90 - 120 seconds, with whole milk added afterwards.

There was a time when I made a big breakfast on Sundays, but now I work Sunday mornings and leave too early for that.

Weekday breakfast is a bowl of cereal and a cup of milk. When I get to work I have a post-breakfast snack of some breakfast cookies. Weekends I tend to skip breakfast but sometimes will have oatmeal with fruit or a cookie.

Breakfast for me is always coffee and fruit of some sort - often a banana and a few grapes at the moment, but I love berries or flat white peaches when they're in season :yummy: Roll on summer :hyper:

For Breakfast I will have greek yogurt, with some granola mixed in; either coffee or tea or currently green tea.

The greek yogurt I am stuck on now is from Trader Joes; either the vanilla or coconut.

I also love Fage greek yogurt. When I have that, I do not add granola. For some reason I cannot eat plain, unflavored yogurt. I love sour cream and cream cheese, but plain yogurt, no..

As part of my diet plan, I eat the same thing every day for breakfast (at least I really like it)--a tortilla with a quarter cup of cheese (nuked so the cheese is melty before rolling it up), a cup of coffee (unpolluted), and a half banana.

I also enjoy breakfast for dinner which can be any of the following:
  • omelettes (middle son is an ace at flipping them, I would just end up with "scrambled eggs with stuff" if I tried)
  • pancakes and bacon

  • scrambled eggs on a half bagel with cheese and two sausage patties
I could eat breakfast foods all day long. to be honest.

I love my morning coffee with flavored creamor! Usually I have a bowl of Lucky Charms or a bowl of brown sugar flavored instant oatmeal. I have to make my daughter a bacon sandwhich before school in the mornings. On weekends I like a Mc Donald's breakfast drive thrue sausage burrito cause they are a dollar each! I love Denny's Grand Slam also but we rarely go there unless we are out of town.

Black coffee everyday and a glass of milk or two before I go to work.
Then something on my 11:00 break like yogurt or another glass of milk! Or walnuts or almonds.

When I'm at work, it's coffee. sometimes I will snack on something if I have it in my desk. this morning it was some vegan jerky.  I don't eat breakfast at home on the weekends. I'm not a morning person and not a breakfast person.

I was having Cocoa Puffs and a banana for breakfast.  Now I am on a low FOD-MAP diet and am eating scrambled eggs with ham and a banana for breakfast.

I love Fage yogurt and the TJ's coconut greek yogurt is my second favorite!

I do that for breakfast, too--yogurt with some sort of granola type cereal.  If I'm not in the mood for yogurt, I make a fruit/protein powder smoothie.

I don't often eat breakfast, and if I do it tends to be berries (by themselves or in a smoothie) or toast with a cup of tea. For some reason eating too much in the morning doesn't agree with me, but going out for brunch is one of my favourite things because there's an awesome coffee shop across the road that does the best bagels and delcious smoothies. Mmm.

I always have two cups of coffee with sugar substitute and powdered creamer. About half the time, that's all I have. When I do eat, it's something small - half a bagel or muffin or an English muffin. On Sundays after church I like something special - an omelette, pancakes, or chipped dried beef on toast. That's what I used to do when I was married and had children, and I still like to have a special breakfast. I love all breakfast foods and also eat them for dinner sometimes. My kids loved it when we had a "breakfast dinner." I'd fix waffles then.

My go-to breakfast during weekdays is an iced coffee with  milk (no sweetening) and a bagel w/cream cheese.  Lately, I usually only eat 1/2 of the bagel. I can't eat when I first wake up so I wait until I get to the office.

Weekends are similar although a) I drink hot coffee instead and b) we eat much more varied on those days.  Could be almost anything other than a bagel.  I'm big on plain yogurt (plain Fage here also!) with granola and fruit, or a bowl of Cheerios, maybe maple oatmeal with blueberries.  One can only eat so many bagels before tiring of them. Ok, actually not, but variety is nice

I can't eat a thing til I drink some coffee. Usually 2 cups does the trick. Once I'm up and ready for solids I usually just have some yogurt w/ chia seeds and some fruit.

One the week ends I'll have egg whites and toast.

@jcat  : Didn't realize you could make regular oatmeal in the microwave. I'm going to try that tomorrow.

During the week, I have two cups of coffee with Girl Scout mint-cookie flavored creamer (yum!). I pick up an Asiago bagel with plain cream cheese at Panera and then eat it at work. In an effort to eat a tad better (and spend less money) I've been eating peach oatmeal with frozen raspberries 2-3 mornings a week now.

On the weekend (or any day where I'm not at the office for that matter), either I don't have breakfast, or I'll have oatmeal.
