Have a question my female cat is Siamese and pregnant. She mated with 2 of my male cats 1 is all orange and my other one is a tiger striped cat does anyone know what color of kittens she will have. And she is a first time mommy. How many kittens will she have she mated with both with in a 24 hour period with both around 10 times

It depends on how many times she ovulated, but it could be quite a large litter. Did you observe all of these matings? How old is she?

Yes she would scream evrey time when I would go to see what was going on my male would be on top of her and she is a little over 1 years old. I had to look online to find out why she was screaming then I knew why I can kind of feel where some of her kittens are but its very hard at 4 weeks until she gets a little farther.

Did you want her to mate with your male cats? Are you getting them neutered now? I suggest you keep her separated from the male cats now.

No it wasn't expected until I figured out what was going on I had to read about it online to find out all the screams and it would be mostly in the night and woke me up out of my sleep. All my cats will be spayed and neutered I have to wait on her to have her kittens first my males I have an appointment for them next week.

As mentioned, it could be up to 10 if they mated 10 times. It depends on how many eggs she releases and has nothing to do with her age.

I don't really know about colors, but I'm sure someone else will be along to answer.

That's a lot of kittens. How do I know how many times she has ovulated? Does it go by the number of times she has mated?

Even though she is a first time mom she can still have that many kittens? Her belly is really starting to puff out at 4 weeks and her nipples have gotten bigger. I know I kept track the first day she did mate that was march 22nd.

There is no way to tell how many times she ovulated. And yes, she can have a large litter. Age has nothing to do with it.

Glad to hear the males are getting neutered. They will both be happier and healthier for it. Let's hope your cat does not have that many kittens!

I noticed my cat today nesting a lot really tired and her temperature is below 100.0 her temp today was 99.4 and when she licks her private area she makes like this groaning noise can she be in the process of going into labor now?

She could be going in to labor, but it is a bit early. 9 weeks even is even early, most cats give birth on the 65th day. 63-67 days is the normal range.

60 days is possible, but unlikely. Temperature isn't always reliable, I took it with mine though in the armpit because I didn't want to upset her by taking it rectally.

My cats temp went up and down in the upcoming week, some don't even drop temp. I did it to ease my mind though, but mine came when I didn't expect!

She could be very near, or have up to a week left. How long have you been able to see kittens moving? Normally it's 2 to 3 weeks after that.

The only sure way of knowing is seeing her have contractions. Keep an eye on her and keep us updated.

Do you have everything you need for the kittens?

I have been seeing her kittens moving for 2 and a half weeks now. And there still moving all over. Milk is starting to come out from her nipples today and she has a creamy discharge on her private area that just started a Lil bit ago. She has been in my room all day today cuz that's where she likes to go and yes I have everything ready for the kittens!!!! Just waiting for her to have them when ever she does.

The groaning noise could be an indicator, but if she keeps doing it without any kittens coming, take her to the vet. If she is in distress for long without kittens then there could be a problem. That's concerning.

Every cat is different, but if you see a lot of moving coming from the kittens, then there is probably a few days left. I saw discharge for a week with mine, milk for 5 days, and the kittens moved for three weeks, then pretty much stopped the day of birth.

If the groaning continues and she is in distress like she sounds, then please call a vet.

The groaning may be from labor, or it could be because she's straining around her belly in order to lick herself.

The milk coming in and creamy discharge are signs that she is getting very close now, but it could still be a few days.

Keep us posted! [emoji]128522[/emoji]
