I think Carrot thinks 1000 pieces is too many and is trying to remove a few so that it'll all be a lot easier.
I think Carrot thinks the pieces look like they'd skitter across the floor in an interesting way.  Didn't you know that everything is a cat toy?

Time to make some supper (both for myself and Jasmine) and then off to my computer club.

A nut allergy would be just terrible. I love all kinds if nuts. They enhance the flavor and texture if soooo many dishes. I feel bad for everyone who can't eat them.
Well, from what I understand most of them have been unable to eat nuts for so long that they can't remember what nuts tasted like. The one I really feel sorry for is AWM, because she's  allergic to chocolate.

Or, maybe Carrot is just jealous of the attention you're giving the puzzle when you're working on it and is trying to get it back. (My cats do the same thing when I color.)

He may be right about that puzzle. I've only managed to get a couple of the pieces together so far. It is a very challenging puzzle.

Somehow, I feel certain that you'll get it. Unless of course, you don't like  puzzles, in which case--steal Carrot! Steal all the pieces you can!

Yayayay! Woohoo! I finally won something. I'm one of those people who never win anything. I was once given 20 scratch off lottery tickets and every single one was a loser. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Fifteen words minimum please.

Congratulations Rhondalee!

Now, let's keep the babbling going.
On to post 2000!
Sorry!

I was half asleep with swollen eyes when I posted that.

It was a toss and turn night again for me. I had to take one Mucinex to stop the stuffiness and dripping.

Artie, on the other hand, was having a "Play Session of Football" last night!!!!

Sometime, during the night, he decided to have the zoomies! (I have neighbors below my apartment)  I ignored him; but when he started yowling in my bedroom, I had to yell at him. He stopped for a short time.

I started to doze off again, then I heard a sound as if something dropped. I ignored it.

Then I was suddenly woken up by a "Ting"... I jumped out of bed and ran into kitchen.

I saw a clean food dish on the floor, his fork was next to it.

The first noise I heard was the dish hitting the kitchen rug. The "Ting" was when he pushed down his fork and it hit the dish.....

Then, Artie decided to get the zoomies again!!!! Sounds of the thundering heard. I looked at the clock and it was 5:15 AM!!!!

There I am chasing him around the house, saying "quiet, no, too early, fresh," ; but he would not listen to me...from one bedroom to the other, behind the bureau, on top of the bathroom sink and back to the beginning, to repeat the entire cycle.....

I finally opened up a can of food for him.....thought he was starving. I had left him 1 1/4 cans of food during the night;

But no! He went over to lick a bit of the juice!

I guess the 'training' session was over because he went right into his carrier and fell asleep!!!

I was a zombie after this.. eyes swollen, itchy, half asleep...I went back to bed at 8 AM, took a nap and woke up at 10 AM.....

I do have to go out to pick up some allergy eye drops...and another air cleaner...

Congrats!
I hope your cats love the toys! Hey, you'll have to post pics of them with the toys (even if all they do is sleep with them) for everyone to see! Or better yet, a video!

Thanks for the congratulations everyone. I will send a video @Tallyollyopia when they get them. Hopefully they will play with them. They are even fussy with their toys. And I agree Kat0121 Kat0121 they most definitely are divas.

Eclipse threw up in one of Kim's favorite shoes yesterday.  I had just pulled tow out from under him and ran for paper towels when he started making that noise.  He moved to another while I was gone - not even a minute!  She's not happy with me. I'm still laughing.  It was a Fluffy hairball.  We keep telling him he is a short hair cat and can't eat her fur.

After cleaning the rug and shoe, Fluffy got a good brushing.  Lots of loose fur on that girl.

Why is it cats have this instant instinct to position themself right over the most prized items when they're about to produce a fur ball (or redistribute food they ate but didn't like)?
Snowleopard always threw up on my best rugs (or right at the door to my bedroom if I'd fed food she didn't like), and Mouse seems to go straight for my nice rugs despite the bare floorboards being where he starts to feel the urge to deposit the furball....
He also scrapes about and meows until I go clear up his little gift and then goes to inspect to make sure I've done a through enough job.
Thankfully Mouse doesn't get many furballs.

Nice prize @rhondalea  .
I hope your kitties have fun when the parcel arrives.

I can't wait!
And, don't worry if they don't seem to like it at first. I don't know about your cats, but ours like to circle new things for a couple of days before deigning to play with them. (Except the new couch. They took to the new couch like ducks take to water.)

My cats are helping me with a puzzle and by helping I mean this:

View media item 347717
They are such brats sometimes. Carrot keeps trying to steal my puzzle pieces.
You are so brave to even try putting together a puzzle with their 'help' at all. Mine won't hardly let me use the sewing machine. That's okay. I'm soaking up kitten love from my mothers day gift.
