It sounds like she's getting ready to go into labor any time now. Many cats eat less and have diarrhea a day or two before giving birth. It cleans out their system. Will she be spayed after this litter weans?

This is why kittens need to be spayed! But I'm glad they are healthy and nursing. Keep an eye on things. Hopefully, she was just opening sacs, cleaning kittens, and eating placentas.

Seven kittens is hard on mom, and lots of work. Feed mom plenty of kitten chow and wet food for nursing. Do get her spayed in about 6 weeks so she doesn't get pregnant again. What are your plans for the kittens?

I'm glad she delivered safely.

Please make sure that she stays 100% inside and away from any males until she can be spayed. She can get pregnant again within the week, which is very dangerous for her body.

We Can't Let Her Feed The Kittens Anymore She Literally Tries To Bite The Head Just Like The First One. The Vet Told Us To feed them ourselves . We Give Them Kitten Formula Every 2and a half to 3 hrs. She is Acting Very Crazy When We bring Them Out To Feed Them... they're Inside a Box All Together Still All Healthy . Keeping Warm. She Only Let Them Feed Once Bt Still Tried to Bite Them We Kept Her Head Away While They Fed For A Little BT She Got Up An Wouldn't Feed em Again Without Snapping At Em . bt She's Purring An Still So Lovable Towards Us.
Here She Was When She Let Them Suck. Bt Only Once She Let Them Feed.

Also I Seen A Youtube Video Of a Mother Who Ate Her Baby An The Baby Was Pretty Big Id Say Waay Bigger Than a 5 Week Old Kitten . so Now I'm Scared For Her To Even Be Around Them When They're Actually Walking Around an Eating regular Kitten food... Anybody Else Have This Problem With Their Cat?
Because Their Is Nothing Wrong With The kittens NOTHING. So Idk Why She Would Try To Eat Them.
We Think She Thinks They Are Rats Or Something An Still Has a Hunt Like Instinct. We Found Her in a alley When She Was Little An Room Her In . she Has Brought Us Bird Heads Before As Presents. I Feel That's What She Tried To Do Or Something?? ...

You need to keep the kittens where she cannot get to them at all. I'm sorry she is acting crazy. You have to feed the kittens through the night too. You'll need to get her spayed soon so she'll calm down. You'll have to keep them separate for a very long time. Unfortunately, this happens sometimes, but luckily, it's not very often and is not the norm with most mom cats.

Some thoughts:

Young mothers need a couple of days to figure things out.  She doesn't know how to safely carry them.  A few of the post where the mother was acting like this it turned out she wasn't comfortable with the location of the nest.  Is it in a quiet, dim place so she feels safe?  If it isn't possible to give her a spot like that you can put a blanket or sheet over her nest with an opening for her to come and go.

Is it noisy in your house? You could try to calm her down and put the kittens on her again, but you'll need to supervise to make sure she does not bite them. I agree that she may want a dark, more private place. Sometimes a quiet bedroom suits mom better. She may also still have been in pain.

Maybe try 2 kittens on her to see if she's feeling calmer, but be careful. It could have just been her hormones. But otherwise, you'll have to keep them totally separate and hand-raise the kittens.

Are you sure she wanted to hurt them?   For me it sounds she probably wanted to carry them somewhere.  If so they do take a grip on their neck (or sometimes the head).

If a cat wants to bite for real, they just do it, there is a tremendous force in it... you dont need never to hesitate if it was for real or not...

But if you feel you must handraise the kittens yourself, please start a new tread about it, so you will get more help this way.

Also, the kittens if alone, do need a heating pad of some sort, unless you are in a very warm place, with temp about 25C - 75+F.

She's not being a bad cat. She is not having a normal hormonal reaction to her kittens, or she might not feel they are safe for some reason. I'm glad you are able to care for them.

Please know that the father cat can get her pregnant again within a week of delivery, so you should be sure to keep them separated until she is spayed and he is neutered. Hormonal issues are likely complicating this situation regardless.
