10 days ago I gave my cat *Drontal* worme pill. Now he is infected again. Am I allowed to give him one again after only 10 days? He is an outdoor cat and a big hunter.
Thank you for your advice!

Please speak to your vet. Most worms require multiple treatments.

Normally you repeat dosage, a week or 2 weeks after. Best to check with the Vet.

If you're noticing what looks like rice in your cats droppings Droncit is another

dewormer specifically for tape worm. Check with Vet clinic.

If you have no flea protection that can be of great benefit.

I'm not sure about the time frame in between doses, but de-worming takes a few rounds of medication.

I used prolabs to de-worm my cats and the instructions on the bottle recommended 1 pill weekly for 3 weeks in a row. This worked, but didn't solve the problem. The vet gave them drontal at their appointments and I've yet to see those nasty segments again (yay, because it was seriously gross).

Also fyi the problem will unfortunately continue even after de-worming if your cat has fleas. Fleas are host to worms so it's a really ugly cycle.

Now my kitties are Revolution to help with both the fleas and the worms.

Hope that helps
