Hi all, obviously I'm new here on the catsite. Nice to make your acquaintance :) I signed up because I recently took in a pregnant foster cat. I was told she's roughly 6–7 weeks along however my intuition paired with a little research regarding behaviour tells me she's closer to her due date than that. I've named her Lady Tea for the time being because she has a penchant for nicking our tea; TiTi is her nickname. I hear this is her second litter so I imagine she'll make a great momma, but just in case of complications I've bought KMR replacement milk and prepared a birthing kit. Honestly, I've never hand reared kittens, but I assume it's similar enough to hand rearing puppies that if push comes to shove I'll be able to do so without much of a learning curve(?please correct me if I'm wrong!) With that said, I've tracked down four homes thus far that I believe will be perfect for the precious little bundles of fluff that'll be bouncing around my home soon enough and TiTi is turning out to be such a sweetie that she may just be my keeper :D I may attach some photos later on if I can snap any decent ones, aha. Hope you're all doing well on this fine day.

Hi there and welcome!!

Thank you for helping out this little family. They are very lucky to have you.

It's good that you are prepared to help her with the babies if you need to. it never hurts to be prepared. Here are some links to some very helpful articles regarding pregnant cat and kitten care:

You are a wonderful person for taking her in. She looks so pretty and comfy. She's there to stay! Can't wait to see pics of the babies when they're here. Keep us posted.
